dPCR CGT Assay ITR2/5 (FAM)

A wet-lab validated 20x primer-probe assay from QIAGEN targets the ITR2/5 sequences of adeno-associated virus (AAV) particles for use on the QIAcuity digital PCR system. The assay is labelled with the FAM fluorophore for detection in the FAM fluorescence channel and uses ZEN/Iowa Black as the probe quencher.

Provided as a ready-to-use 20x mix with double-quenched probe technology, the assay supports singleplexed and multiplexed viral vector titer determination. The amplicon length is 62 bp, and the assay is compatible with the restriction enzymes Msp I, Hpa II, and Sma I. A synthetic DNA sequence for use as a positive control is supplied.

The product is intended for molecular biology applications, including absolute quantification of encapsidated AAV genome copies in cell and gene therapy research, and is not intended for the diagnosis, prevention, or treatment of a disease.
