dPCR CGT Assay GFP (FAM)

This wet-lab validated digital PCR assay from QIAGEN targets the green fluorescent protein (GFP) sequence and is designed for use on the QIAcuity Digital PCR System with the QIAcuity Probe PCR Kit. The FAM-labelled probe uses a ZEN/Iowa Black quencher, the amplicon length is 60 bp, and the assay is compatible with the restriction enzymes MspI, HpaII, SmaI, and HaeIII.

Intended for cell and gene therapy quality control, the assay supports applications such as viral vector titer measurement, vector genome integrity assessment, and detection of potential plasmid contamination when Amp plasmids are used in AAV production. It is validated for singleplex and multiplex reactions, can be combined with gene-of-interest assays, and is also compatible with qPCR platforms.

Performance data from QIAGEN demonstrate high linearity from 2.5 copies/µl to 15,000 copies/µl on 8.5k Nanoplates with less than 10% deviation from the mean, and accurate quantification down to 0.3 copies/µl.
