dNTP Set, PCR Grade 100mM, (4x100µl)

Individual, highly pure dATP, dCTP, dGTP and dTTP are provided by QIAGEN as separate deoxynucleotide triphosphates at 100 mM concentration in aqueous solution. The set enables flexible preparation of PCR and RT-PCR reactions requiring high sensitivity and reproducibility, with each dNTP able to be diluted and combined as required for standard and specialised workflows.

Supply of each nucleotide individually supports customised reaction setup for sensitive PCR, DNA labelling protocols and assay optimisation. Adjustments to the concentrations of specific nucleotides are possible, which is necessary for certain labelling techniques and desirable for flexibility when troubleshooting or altering reaction components. Standard PCR assays are typically prepared at 200 µM of each dNTP, and the performance of each lot is tested in a specific polymerase chain reaction requiring all four nucleotides.

High-purity dNTPs are essential for sensitive PCR, where contaminating impurities may reduce sensitivity, amplification efficiency and product yield.
