Custom dPCR LNA Assay (Probe and Primer)

QIAGEN offers this digital PCR (dPCR) assay using LNA technology for increased specificity. Designed for molecular biology applications in epidemiological research, the hydrolysis probe-based assays detect monkeypox virus (MPXV) and differentiate between Congo Basin (CB) strains—now referred to as clade I (subclades Ia and Ib)—and West African (WA) strains—now referred to as clade II (subclades IIa and IIb).

Three design categories are offered within this product line: assays based on published US CDC designs; LNA-enhanced assays based on QIAGEN expert designs; and LNA-enhanced assays for wastewater testing. Reference assays are also available for human samples (RNAseP) and wastewater monitoring (Bacteroides cluster). Recommended reporter dyes include FAM, HEX, and Cy5.
