CoV-2 Rec Spike, His, Flag (HEK) 100ug

Supplied by STEMCELL Technologies, this recombinant SARS-CoV-2 Spike glycoprotein is produced in HEK293 human cells and carries both a polyhistidine affinity tag and a FLAG epitope tag, delivered as a 100 µg vial for in vitro research use only.

Expression in a mammalian HEK293 host preserves authentic folding and the dense N-linked glycosylation pattern of the native viral Spike trimer, supporting reliable studies of human ACE2 receptor engagement, pseudovirus neutralization assays, and antibody epitope mapping.

The dual His and FLAG tags enable parallel purification by immobilized metal affinity chromatography and detection with anti-FLAG reagents in flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation, and western blot workflows. The 100 µg pack size provides enough material for extended longitudinal antibody response studies and repeated assay replicates.

Common downstream applications include vaccine antigen characterization, screening of monoclonal antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 variants, structural and binding studies, and use as a reference antigen in immunoassays targeting the Spike protein.
