BioSprint 96 DNA Blood Kit (48)

From QIAGEN, the BioSprint 96 DNA Blood Kit provides all reagents and plasticware required for automated genomic DNA purification on the BioSprint 96 workstation. The kit uses magnetic-particle technology for rapid DNA purification from whole blood, buffy coat, cultured cells, tissues, rodent tails, buccal swabs and dried blood spots. By sequentially transferring magnetic particles rather than liquids between wells, the workstation uses minimal reagent volumes, supporting cost-efficient sample preparation. Purified DNA is up to 50 kb in size.

Purified DNA is suitable for downstream applications including PCR, real-time PCR, genotyping and Southern blotting, and is free of protein, nucleases and other contaminants. Automated processing on the BioSprint 96 workstation takes 45 minutes per run. Kit reagents can be stored at room temperature (15–25°C) for up to 1 year if not otherwise stated on the label. For purification of genomic DNA from tissue, dried blood spots or buccal swabs, Buffer ATL and QIAGEN Proteinase K are required (not supplied with the kit).
