The ZSCAN22 polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit-derived, unconjugated reagent raised against the human KRAB-zinc finger transcription factor ZSCAN22, a nuclear protein that participates in sequence-specific DNA binding and repression of downstream gene expression. Produced as a polyclonal reagent and supplied in a 100 µl liquid vial aliquot, it is validated for Western blot (WB) detection of endogenous ZSCAN22 in human cell lysates and for immunohistochemistry (IHC) localization in formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue sections. Because the reagent is unconjugated, it can be paired with HRP-, biotin-, or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies of the researcher's choice, supporting chromogenic, fluorescence, or chemiluminescent detection depending on the experimental readout. The polyclonal rabbit host background provides recognition of multiple epitopes on ZSCAN22, which is helpful when probing denatured targets where a single monoclonal epitope may be lost. Reactivity is reported for human samples, and the antibody is intended for research applications including studies of KRAB-ZNF family chromatin association, transcriptional regulatory programs, and differentiation-associated expression patterns in cell and tissue models.
