Anti-ZO1 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this primary antibody is a recombinant rabbit monoclonal raised against ZO1 (also known as tight junction protein ZO-1, encoded by the TJP1 gene), which localizes to the cytoplasmic membrane surface of intercellular tight junctions and is implicated in tight junction assembly, junction stabilization, and the regulation of cell migration via CDC42BPB targeting. The reagent is supplied at 50 µl in a liquid format consisting of 1×TBS (pH 7.4) with 1% BSA, 40% glycerol, and 0.05% sodium azide as preservative, and has been peptide-affinity purified. Validated applications include Immunocytochemistry (ICC) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC), and the unconjugated antibody detects endogenous levels of ZO1 in human, mouse, and rat samples without cross-reactivity to related proteins. The host species is rabbit, the clonality is monoclonal with an IgG isotype, the expected band runs at approximately 194 kDa, and the immunogen is a synthetic, KLH-coupled peptide corresponding to ZO1.
