The ZNF462 zinc finger protein plays a documented role in craniofacial and neural crest development, and heterozygous loss-of-function variants in the gene are causally linked to Weiss-Kruszka syndrome, a congenital disorder featuring facial dysmorphism and variable neurodevelopmental findings. Antibodies that reliably detect endogenous ZNF462 in human and rat lysates therefore support both basic developmental biology studies and translational work on this rare disease.
This polyclonal antibody is raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide, at approximately pH 7.2. The unconjugated reagent is delivered in a 100 µl vial and has been validated for western blot detection, with reactivity confirmed against human and rat samples. The PBS-based formulation allows direct use in standard SDS-PAGE and immunoblotting workflows once appropriate blocking and dilution steps are applied.
