Anti-ZMYND8 Antibody

This polyclonal primary antibody, raised in rabbit and supplied by Antibodies.com, targets ZMYND8 (zinc finger MYND-type containing 8), a chromatin-reader protein that recognizes histone marks including H3K14ac and unmethylated H3K4. ZMYND8 has been characterized in studies of transcription regulation, the DNA damage response, and as a transcriptional co-repressor in several cancer models, where it associates with RNA polymerase II and histone acetylation machinery. The reagent is provided at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline at pH ~7.3 with 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative, in a 100 µl vial sized for routine Western blot workflows. Validated reactivity against human, mouse, and rat samples makes it useful for probing nuclear extracts and chromatin-associated complexes in cross-species experiments. The unconjugated format supports flexible secondary antibody pairing and downstream HRP-based detection. For best results, aliquot into single-use vials and store at -20°C in PBS to preserve activity across multiple experiments.
