Raised in rabbit against the human ZKSCAN3 transcription factor, this unconjugated polyclonal IgG reagent is intended for western blot detection of a KRAB-and-SCAN domain zinc finger protein best characterized as a transcriptional repressor of autophagy-related genes. The antibody binds the endogenous target and is suitable for probing expression in human cell lysates prepared from cultured lines under nutrient-stressed or basal states.

Supplied as 200 µL of liquid antibody in a single vial, the reagent is unconjugated and compatible with standard HRP- or fluorophore-conjugated secondary antibodies. It is validated for western blot, with typical working dilutions ranging from 1:500 to 1:2000 depending on antigen abundance and detection chemistry. Researchers studying nutrient stress, organelle turnover, and KRAB zinc finger biology have used antibodies targeting this protein in published autophagy-focused investigations, including work identifying ZKSCAN3 as a master regulator of lysosomal biogenesis.

For storage, refrigerate the vial at 4 °C for short-term use; aliquot to minimize freeze-thaw cycles and protect from light if a fluorophore-labelled detection system is used. The product is supplied by Antibodies.com and is intended for research use only, with reactivity confirmed against human samples. Because the antibody is polyclonal and raised in rabbit, it recognizes multiple epitopes on the target and tolerates minor sample-to-sample variation in target integrity better than many monoclonal alternatives.
