Anti-ZFP 42 Antibody [Z4]

The Z4 clone specifically recognizes ZFP 42 (also known as REX1), a zinc finger transcription factor widely used as a marker of pluripotency in human embryonic stem cells and induced pluripotent stem cells. This unconjugated IgG1 reagent is supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µg liquid preparation, formulated for western blot detection of endogenous ZFP 42 in pluripotent stem cell lysates and for immunocytochemistry on cultured cells.

Store frozen at -20 °C in single-use aliquots to limit freeze-thaw cycles and preserve antibody activity; for active use, keep refrigerated at 4 °C. Suggested starting working concentrations are 1-2 µg/mL for ICC staining and a 1:500 to 1:2000 dilution range for western blot, where a specific band near the predicted ~36 kDa molecular weight confirms recognition of human ZFP 42.
