ZEB2 (zinc finger E-box-binding homeobox 2) is a zinc-finger transcription factor widely studied for its role in repressing epithelial cadherin and driving epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). The protein is a recurring marker in cancer invasion and metastasis research, neural crest development studies, and work on Mowat-Wilson syndrome, the neurodevelopmental disorder linked to ZEB2 haploinsufficiency. Researchers use it to map mesenchymal-like populations within tumor stroma and to follow the transition of fibroblasts into myofibroblasts in tissue sections.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against ZEB2 and validated for western blot and immunohistochemistry on human and mouse samples. It is supplied as 100 µl of polyclonal antiserum in a single vial, intended for research use only and compatible with chromogenic IHC on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded tissue as well as immunoblotting of whole-cell lysates and nuclear extracts. For best stability, aliquot on receipt and store at -20°C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles; short-term working aliquots can be kept refrigerated at 4°C.

Provided by Antibodies.com, the antibody serves as a primary antibody for labs tracking EMT programs, screening tumor microenvironments for ZEB2-positive stromal cells, and probing developmental expression of the transcription factor in murine embryos.
