Raised in rabbit as a polyclonal reagent, this unconjugated primary antibody from Antibodies.com targets the CCCH-type zinc finger protein ZC3H8 (also referenced in the literature as Fliz1) and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry workflows. The antibody is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, packaged as 100 µl per vial for use across multiple experiments.

ZC3H8 functions as a transcriptional regulator with documented roles in T-lymphocyte signaling and in the negative modulation of T-cell activation. Published work has placed ZC3H8 in complexes with FOXP3 and implicated the protein in feedback control of inflammatory gene expression, making anti-ZC3H8 antibodies relevant for research on immune regulatory pathways, transcription-factor biology, and comparative gene-expression analysis. The reagent has been tested for reactivity against human, mouse, and rat orthologs, supporting parallel work on cell-culture lysates and on tissue sections from each species.

For routine handling, keep the vial refrigerated at 4°C; the 0.05% sodium azide preservative permits brief handling at room temperature during Western blot and immunohistochemistry setup. Aliquot upon first use to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and protect from light during extended storage. Research use only.
