Anti-ZBTB7A Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets ZBTB7A (Zinc finger and BTB domain-containing 7A), a transcriptional repressor belonging to the POK (POZ and Krüppel) family of zinc finger proteins. The unconjugated reagent is supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 15 mM sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, and is provided in a 100 µl volume suitable for multiple western blot runs.

ZBTB7A plays well-characterised roles in cellular differentiation, lymphopoiesis, and tumour biology. It regulates the pro-B cell to pre-B cell transition during B-lymphocyte development and represses key downstream targets such as MYC and the CDKN2A-encoded tumour suppressor ARF. Published work has linked ZBTB7A to oncogenesis in diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, follicular lymphoma, and certain solid tumours, while in other contexts it functions as a tumour suppressor by restraining glycolytic gene expression through interaction with FBP1.

Validated for western blot and reactive with human, mouse, and rat samples, this reagent supports comparative expression analysis across these species in cell lysates and tissue extracts. The sodium azide in the storage buffer inhibits microbial contamination; samples destined for downstream applications sensitive to azide should be dialysed or exchanged into azide-free buffer before further use.
