ZBTB48 (zinc finger and BTB domain containing 48), also known as HKR3 or ZNF855, is a Krüppel-type zinc finger protein that engages DNA through its C-terminal zinc finger clusters and recruits repressive chromatin machinery via its N-terminal KRAB and BTB domains.

This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com is raised against ZBTB48 and validated for western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows on human and mouse samples. The reagent is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, where the azide acts as an anti-microbial preservative and the glycerol functions as a cryostabilant.

Researchers apply this reagent to studies of telomeric chromatin organization, KRAB-zinc finger-mediated transcriptional repression, and profiling of chromatin-bound factors across cell lines and tissue sections. Recommended handling includes brief equilibration to room temperature before use, aliquoting to limit freeze-thaw cycles, and protecting the vial from light to preserve antibody activity over extended storage.
