ZAP70 is a 70 kDa Syk-family tyrosine kinase essential for T-cell receptor signaling, and loss-of-function mutations in this gene cause a recessive form of severe combined immunodeficiency. This Mouse monoclonal reagent from Antibodies.com, raised against the 4B2 epitope, is widely referenced in immunology research for tracking ZAP70 protein levels in human lymphocytes and T-lineage cells. The unconjugated antibody is supplied as 50 µl of purified protein in 0.1M Tris-Glycine buffer at pH 7.4, with 150 mM NaCl, 0.2% sodium azide as preservative, and 50% glycerol for stable low-temperature storage. Verified applications include western blot (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP), making the antibody a practical choice for studies of T-cell activation thresholds, ZAP70 methylation status in chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and primary immunodeficiency screening panels. Reported reactivity is limited to human samples, and the reagent is intended for research use only in immunoblot and immunoprecipitation workflows performed under standard reducing conditions.
