Anti-Zap-70 (Ab-493) Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal reagent is raised against a synthetic peptide spanning amino acids 491–495 (S-Y-Y-T-A) of the human ZAP70 sequence and is affinity-purified on an epitope-specific peptide column. The unconjugated antibody is supplied at 1 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, and is offered here as a 50 µL volume. It recognises endogenous levels of total Zap-70 protein in samples from human, mouse and rat origin, and has been validated for Western blotting on HL60 cell lysates and for immunohistochemistry on paraffin-embedded human breast carcinoma tissue, where specific staining is abolished by pre-incubation with the immunising blocking peptide. Suggested storage is at –20 °C for long-term preservation, with short-term handling at 4 °C; for convenience the reagent is also reported to be stable through several freeze–thaw cycles when aliquoted.
