Anti-YWHAB Antibody

Raise reliable detection of the YWHAB target with this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com, raised in rabbit and supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µL volume. The unconjugated antibody recognizes the endogenous level of total YWHAB protein in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blotting, immunohistochemistry (IHC) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF). It was generated against a recombinant human YWHAB immunogen and purified by affinity chromatography using the immunogen, then formulated in phosphate-buffered saline (pH 7.4, without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺) containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a stabiliser. The reagent is shipped on cold gel packs at 4°C and should be aliquoted and stored at –20°C upon arrival to preserve activity; repeated freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided. YWHAB is also referred to as 14-3-3 protein beta/alpha, KCIP-1, Protein 1054 and Protein kinase C inhibitor protein 1, a broadly expressed adapter/regulatory protein, making this polyclonal reagent well suited to studies of cellular signalling, the cell cycle and apoptosis across multiple model systems. Each vial is supplied as 50 µL of liquid polyclonal Ig and is intended for research use only; it is not for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
