Anti-XRCC5 Antibody

Raised in rabbit against the human XRCC5 protein, this polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com recognizes Ku80, the 80 kDa subunit of the Ku heterodimer that caps DNA ends at double-strand breaks and channels repair through the non-homologous end joining (NHEJ) pathway. Together with its Ku70 partner, Ku80 recruits the DNA-PK catalytic subunit to broken termini, supporting studies of genomic stability, V(D)J recombination in lymphocytes, telomere maintenance, and cellular responses to ionizing radiation.
