Anti-XRCC4 Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com as a primary antibody for DNA-damage response research, this mouse monoclonal reagent targets XRCC4, a core scaffold of the non-homologous end joining (NHEJ) complex required for ligase IV recruitment and DNA double-strand break repair. The antibody is supplied at 50 µl per vial at a concentration of 1 mg/mL in PBS, pH 7.4, containing 0.02% sodium azide as preservative and 50% glycerol, with the immunoglobulin isolated from antiserum by affinity-chromatography and supplied unconjugated to preserve flexibility in downstream labelling. It specifically recognises endogenous XRCC4 in human samples and has been validated for Western blotting (recommended 1:2000) and immunoprecipitation (recommended 1:200). The reagent is shipped on wet ice at 4°C and, upon receipt, should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to maintain activity.
