Anti-XPA Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com as a research-grade rabbit polyclonal reagent, this affinity-purified IgG antibody is raised against a synthesized peptide derived from the internal region of human XPA (xeroderma pigmentosum group A-complementing protein) and is designed to detect endogenous levels of total XPA protein. It is supplied at a concentration of 1.0 mg/mL in a 50 µl volume, formulated in phosphate buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, with 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide and 50% glycerol as a stabilizer. The unconjugated antibody is validated for Western blotting (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) applications on human samples, making it suitable for studies of nucleotide excision repair and DNA damage response pathways. The host species is rabbit, the clonality is polyclonal (affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen), and the isotype is IgG. For handling, the product is shipped at 4 °C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at -20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity.
