Anti-XPA Antibody

Offered by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody is raised against XPA (Xeroderma pigmentosum group A-complementing protein, also known as XP1 or XPAC), a key component of the nucleotide excision repair pathway. The reagent is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at a concentration of 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and it is provided in unconjugated form with an IgG isotype for flexible downstream labelling. The immunogen is a synthetic peptide derived from the C-terminal region of human XPA, and the antibody has been affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by epitope-specific affinity chromatography to ensure detection of endogenous XPA protein levels. It is validated for Western blot (WB), immunohistochemistry (IHC) and ELISA workflows, and cross-reacts with both human and mouse samples, making it suitable for comparative studies in DNA-damage and repair research.
