Anti-XPA Antibody

Affinity-purified polyclonal reagent raised in rabbit against the human XPA DNA repair protein, supplied by Antibodies.com as a 100 µL unconjugated aliquot. XPA (Xeroderma Pigmentosum complementation group A) is a zinc-finger DNA-binding factor that recognizes bulky, helix-distorting lesions such as UV-induced cyclobutane pyrimidine dimers and positions the nucleotide excision repair complex on damaged chromatin. The antibody detects the endogenous target in human and mouse samples, supporting Western blot analysis of NER factor expression, immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed tissue sections, and ELISA-based quantification of recombinant antigen. Provided without a fluorophore or enzyme tag, the reagent can be paired with HRP- or biotin-conjugated secondary antibodies for chemiluminescent immunoblotting and chromogenic IHC detection in DNA damage and repair research.
