Anti-XPA Antibody [5F12]

Produced by Antibodies.com, this Mouse monoclonal antibody (clone 5F12) is raised against recombinant full length human XPA protein and recognises the XPA target. The unconjugated IgG2b reagent is supplied as a liquid preparation and is validated for Western blotting (WB), immunofluorescence (IF), ELISA and inhibition assays, with reactivity confirmed against human samples. It has been KO validated and is accompanied by 3 scientific images.

The antibody is formulated in Phosphate Buffered Saline at pH 7.2 with 50% glycerol, and is filter-sterilised, carrier-free and without sodium azide. It is purified by ion exchange chromatography and provided at a concentration of 1 mg/ml. Recommended starting dilutions are 1:1,000–1:10,000 for WB and 1:100–1:1,000 for IF. The epitope recognised by the antibody maps to amino acids 30–47 of XPA.

The product is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
