Anti-XLalphas Antibody

Offered through Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified Rabbit polyclonal reagent specifically recognizes XLalphas (also known as GNAS, GNAS1, XLas, or NESP55), the extra-long isoform of the stimulatory G-protein alpha subunit encoded by the GNAS locus. The antibody is supplied as a 100 µl aliquot of an IgG polyclonal preparation in unconjugated form, provided in 0.1 M Tris-buffered saline (pH 7.0) containing 10% glycerol with 0.01% thimerosal added as a preservative. It was raised against a recombinant protein fragment corresponding to amino acids 164–394 of human GNAS, and it is validated for Western blotting (recommended dilution range 1:500–1:3000) and Immunohistochemistry (1:50–1:500), with reactivity confirmed against human samples and a predicted target molecular weight of approximately 46 kDa. The reagent is shipped at 4 °C; for routine use it should be stored at 4 °C, while longer-term storage at –20 °C is recommended, taking care to avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. Purified by antigen-affinity chromatography and intended for research use only, it is not validated for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
