XKRX is an X-linked member of the XK family of lipid scramblases, a group of membrane proteins that mediate the exposure of phosphatidylserine on the outer leaflet of the plasma membrane during programmed cell death and related signaling events. This unconjugated rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised against the human XKRX target and is validated for western blot (WB) and immunohistochemistry (IHC) workflows on human samples. The antibody is supplied as a 100 µl liquid aliquot and is intended for research use only, supporting studies of membrane remodeling, apoptotic pathways, and X-chromosome-associated phenotypes.

As a polyclonal reagent, the antibody recognizes multiple epitopes across the XKRX protein, which improves the likelihood of detection when the target is present at low abundance or in tissues where processing and post-translational modification may vary between samples. Researchers investigating phospholipid asymmetry, erythrocyte membrane biology, and X-linked genetic conditions commonly use XKRX-specific antibodies to map tissue distribution and characterize expression patterns in disease models. The unconjugated format provides flexibility in pairing with user-selected secondary reagents and custom detection chemistries, allowing the antibody to be integrated into a range of experimental designs without the constraints of a pre-conjugated reporter.
