Anti-WNK2 Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this rabbit polyclonal antibody targets WNK2 (also known as PRKWNK2, SDCCAG43, KIAA1760, Serine/threonine-protein kinase WNK2, and Protein kinase with no lysine 2), a member of the WNK subfamily of serine/threonine kinases implicated in ion transport and signal transduction. The reagent is supplied at 50 µl volume as an unconjugated, affinity-purified polyclonal antiserum formulated at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), with sodium azide as preservative, at approximately pH 7.3, and has been purified by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen to >95% purity by SDS-PAGE. It was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues of human WNK2 and specifically detects endogenous levels of the ~243 kDa WNK2 protein. Validated applications are limited to Western blotting (WB), and the antibody has been confirmed to react with human, mouse, and rat samples, making it suitable for cross-species studies of WNK2 expression in cell and tissue lysates.
