WIPI1 (WD repeat domain phosphoinositide-interacting protein 1) is a phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate effector that binds early autophagosomal membranes and coordinates membrane remodeling during macroautophagy. This polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com was raised in rabbit against the human WIPI1 target and is supplied as a 100 µl vial at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, ready for direct use in standard immunoassays.

The unconjugated antibody has been validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry and cross-reacts with mouse and rat orthologs in addition to human WIPI1, supporting comparative studies of autophagy in cell culture models and fixed tissue sections. Researchers investigating omegasome formation, the ATG12–ATG5–ATG16L1 conjugation cascade, LC3 lipidation, mitophagy, or WIPI2-mediated phagophore expansion can deploy this reagent for both denaturing protein analysis and morphology-preserving IHC detection.

Short-term storage at -20 °C is recommended, and aliquoting upon first thaw limits freeze-thaw cycles to preserve full binding activity across multiple experiments.
