The Antibodies.com rabbit polyclonal reagent targets WIG1 (also called ZMAT3), a p53-responsive zinc finger protein that binds RNA and modulates alternative splicing during cellular stress, including DNA damage and oxidative challenge. Studies with this unconjugated antibody support investigations of p53 signaling, stress-granule biology, and tumor-suppressor pathways in colorectal cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, and other malignancies where WIG1 transcript stabilization and 3' UTR binding have been characterized.

Validated for Western blot on human, mouse, and rat samples, the polyclonal antibody is supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in PBS with 0.1% sodium azide and 50% glycerol, ready for standard immunoblotting workflows after dilution in compatible assay buffer. The host species is rabbit, with reactivity confirmed across the indicated mammalian panel, making the reagent useful for probing endogenous WIG1 expression, validating knockdown or knockout cell culture and tissue lysate models, and characterizing stress-response phenotypes in apoptosis and cell-cycle research. Store refrigerated and protect from light to preserve the sodium-azide-stabilized formulation across multiple freeze-thaw cycles when aliquoted.
