Anti-WDR77 Antibody

Generated in mouse and supplied as an unconjugated IgG1 monoclonal, this reagent from Antibodies.com targets WDR77 (WD repeat-containing protein 77), the 50 kDa methylosome subunit also called MEP50 or p44 that partners with the type II arginine methyltransferase PRMT5. WDR77 stabilizes PRMT5 and supports symmetric dimethylation of arginine residues on Sm proteins during spliceosomal snRNP assembly, and it also contributes to histone H4R3 methylation, making the protein relevant to studies of RNA processing, transcriptional regulation, and chromatin modification. The antibody is validated for Western blot and immunocytochemistry on samples from human, mouse, and rat, covering the three species most commonly used to model these pathways.
