Anti-WDR5 Antibody

Affinity-purified rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against the WD repeat-containing protein 5 (WDR5) core scaffold of MLL/SET1 (KMT2) histone H3 lysine 4 methyltransferase complexes. Supplied by Antibodies.com as 50 µl of unconjugated IgG antiserum, the reagent is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human and mouse tissues, and the unconjugated format leaves secondary label choice open to the user for chromogenic IHC, fluorescent multiplex imaging, and chemiluminescent Western blot. The polyclonal pool recognises multiple epitopes across the ~37 kDa WDR5 subunit, which is useful when probing isoform variation, post-translational modification states, and incorporation into large chromatin-associated assemblies in MLL-rearranged leukemia, breast cancer, and embryonic stem cell self-renewal programmes. Aliquots support chromatin immunoprecipitation follow-up, nuclear extract fractionation, and analysis of MLL complex integrity after inhibitor or degrader treatment in cell culture and in vivo model systems. For handling, aliquot on receipt and store at -20 °C to -80 °C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles; dilute immediately before use in validated diluents. The unconjugated IgG format also allows multiplexed co-detection with anti-H3K4me3, anti-MLL1, or anti-RBBP5 antibodies when interrogating the same chromatin or transcriptional programme in a single sample.
