Raise sensitive detection of a key regulatory phosphorylation event on the WAVE1 signaling protein with this rabbit polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com. WAVE1 (also known as WASF1) is a member of the WASP family of scaffolding proteins that drives Arp2/3-mediated actin polymerization at the cell cortex, and phosphorylation at tyrosine 125 by Src-family kinases modulates its activity in cytoskeletal remodeling, neuronal signaling, and synaptic plasticity. This unconjugated primary antibody selectively recognizes the phospho-Y125 epitope and is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry on human, mouse, and rat samples, making it a useful tool for translational neuroscience and cell biology projects that span rodent models and human tissue archives.

The reagent is supplied as 100 µl of a 1 mg/ml stock in phosphate buffered saline at approximately pH 7.2, with 0.05% sodium azide included as a preservative to inhibit microbial growth during repeated use. Aliquot upon receipt and store frozen at -20°C to preserve phospho-specific binding activity, and limit freeze-thaw cycles. The polyclonal rabbit host background supports strong signal generation, while the unconjugated format gives full flexibility for downstream labeling with HRP, biotin, or fluorophore conjugates selected by the user. Working dilutions should be titrated empirically for each application and sample type.
