Anti-WARS Antibody

This polyclonal primary antibody targets human WARS (tryptophanyl-tRNA synthetase), the aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase that charges tRNA^Trp with tryptophan during cytosolic translation. Beyond its housekeeping role in protein synthesis, WARS is secreted under inflammatory stress and acts as a cytokine-like molecule that promotes angiogenesis and modulates myeloid cell signaling, so the protein is increasingly studied in inflammation research, wound-healing models, and aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase biology.

Raised in rabbit and supplied as 100 µl of unconjugated antiserum, the reagent is validated for western blot (WB) detection of endogenous WARS and for immunohistochemistry (IHC) on formalin-fixed tissue sections. The antibody cross-reacts with mouse and rat orthologues in addition to human WARS, supporting comparative studies across standard laboratory model organisms. For best stability, aliquot the vial upon arrival to minimize freeze-thaw cycles and store at -20°C; protect from light when working downstream with HRP or fluorophore secondary conjugates.
