The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region within amino acids 733 and 796 of human VPS35, and the antibody has been confirmed to react with human samples, making it suitable for studies of the retromer complex in mammalian cells. Supplied as a 100 µl aliquot of an unconjugated polyclonal preparation, the product has been purified by antigen-affinity chromatography and is formulated in 0.1 M Tris-buffered saline at pH 7.0 supplemented with 10% glycerol, with 0.01% Thimerosal included as a preservative.
