Anti-VPAC1 Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified by epitope-specific immunogen chromatography, this polyclonal antiserum targets the internal region of human VPAC1 and reliably detects endogenous levels of the receptor. Distributed by Antibodies.com, the reagent is supplied as a 50 µL liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and is unconjugated for maximum flexibility in downstream labelling. The antibody has been validated for Western blotting, ELISA, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry, with demonstrated reactivity against human, rat and mouse samples, making it well suited to cross-species studies of VIP receptor signalling. For routine use, the vial should be stored at -20°C in single-use aliquots to avoid freeze/thaw cycles, with short-term transport at 4°C.
