Anti-VLDLR Antibody

A rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting the VLDL Receptor (VLDLR), supplied by Antibodies.com within their Primary Antibodies range. The unconjugated IgG reagent is validated for Western blot and reacts with Human and Mouse samples.

The antibody was raised against a recombinant fusion protein containing a sequence corresponding to amino acids 833–869 of human VLDLR (NP_003374.3), with the immunogen peptide sequence DNPVYLKTTEEDLSIDIGRHSASVGHTYPAISVVSTD. The target has a molecular weight of 110 kDa. The product is supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) with 50% Glycerol and 0.05% Proclin 300, and is affinity purified.

For Western blotting, a recommended dilution range of 1:500–1:2,000 is given; supporting validation data show detection at 1:1,000 dilution on cell line lysates at 25 µg per lane, with Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) secondary at 1:10,000, 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST as blocking buffer, ECL Enhanced Kit detection, and 90 seconds exposure. The reagent ships at 4°C; upon receipt it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, with freeze/thaw cycles avoided. For research use only; not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use.
