Anti-VIPR1 Antibody

This Antibodies.com primary antibody is a rabbit polyclonal antibody targeting VPAC1, also referred to as VIPR1. It was raised against a recombinant fusion protein corresponding to amino acids 31-150 of human VIPR1 (NP_004615.2). The unconjugated IgG reagent is validated for Western blot and immunohistochemistry applications and reacts with Human and Rat samples.

Affinity-purified and supplied as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline, pH 7.3, with 50% glycerol and 0.02% sodium azide, the antibody has a reported molecular weight of 51 kDa. Recommended dilutions are WB: 1:500-1:2,000 and IHC: 1:50-1:200. A representative Western blot on extracts of Raji cells was performed at 1:1,000 dilution, with detection using Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG H&L (HRP) at 1:10,000, 25 µg of lysate per lane, 3% non-fat dry milk in TBST as blocking buffer, and an ECL Basic Kit with a 5 s exposure.

The product is shipped at 4°C and should be aliquoted upon delivery and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
