Description
A rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets the V120 region of VIP and is validated for immunohistochemistry on human samples. The unconjugated antibody is raised in rabbit and supplied at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approximately pH 7.2.
The immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 91-140 of human VIP, and the reagent detects endogenous levels of VIP protein, which has a molecular weight of approximately 19 kDa. The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen and shows a purity greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE.
