Anti-Vinculin Antibody

Raised in rabbit and affinity-purified by epitope-specific chromatographic methods, this polyclonal reagent from Antibodies.com targets the cytoskeletal scaffold protein Vinculin (VCL, also known as Metavinculin/MV) and detects its endogenous levels across human, mouse and rat samples. The unconjugated IgG is supplied as a 50 µl liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, and was generated against a synthesized peptide derived from human Vinculin around the non-phosphorylation site of tyrosine 821. It is validated for ELISA, Western blotting, immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and immunohistochemistry (IHC), making it suitable for both cell-based and tissue-based workflows. The antibody is shipped at 4 °C; upon arrival it should be aliquoted and stored at –20 °C, with repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided to preserve activity. For research use only.
