Anti-Vimentin (phospho-S56) Antibody

The reagent specifically detects endogenous levels of Vimentin protein when phosphorylated at Serine 56. It was raised against a synthetic phosphopeptide derived from human Vimentin around the phosphorylation site of Serine 56, and observed molecular weights are approximately 40 and 57 kDa.

The antibody is provided at 1 mg/ml in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) with 0.05% sodium azide, approx. pH 7.2. It was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen, and the purity is greater than 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
