Anti-Vimentin Antibody

This primary antibody from Antibodies.com is a rabbit polyclonal reagent raised against Vimentin and supplied as whole antiserum in liquid form. It is of the IgG isotype and is unconjugated.

Validated for Western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), and immunohistochemistry (IHC), it reacts with Human, Rat, Mouse, Bovine, Porcine, and Horse samples. The immunogen used was recombinant full-length human Vimentin, expressed in and purified from E. coli, and the protein target has a molecular weight of 50 kDa. Recommended starting dilutions are 1:10,000 for WB, 1:5,000 for ICC/IF, and 1:5,000 for IHC.

The antibody is formulated with 5 mM Sodium Azide. It is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, and freeze/thaw cycles should be avoided.
