Manufactured by Antibodies.com and distributed under the EastCoast Bio / Medix Biochemica brand family (MPN HM264), this mouse monoclonal IgG1 reagent is raised against Vibrio cholerae O139 and is supplied as a 1 mg aliquot of Protein A purified antibody in 10 mM phosphate buffered saline (pH 8.0) containing 50 mM NaCl, at >95% purity. The unconjugated clone is recommended for ELISA applications such as capture assays and lateral flow immunoassays, where it has demonstrated a detection capability of ≤10⁴ cfu/mL, and it is intended for research use only. Specificity is directed against the V. cholerae O139 somatic antigen, with no cross-reactivity observed against related strains including V. cholerae O1-Ogawa and O1-Inaba, making it a useful tool for selective detection of the O139 serogroup. The product is preserved with 0.1% sodium azide and should be stored refrigerated to preserve monoclonal antibody activity, and as a primary antibody in unconjugated format it is well suited for pairing with enzyme- or fluorophore-labeled secondary reagents in standard immunoassays.
