Anti-VEGFR2 (phospho-Tyr1059) Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this is a rabbit polyclonal antibody raised against VEGFR2 phosphorylated at tyrosine 1059. The unconjugated reagent is validated for Western blot (WB) applications and reacts with Human and Mouse samples.

According to the manufacturer, the antibody was generated by immunising rabbits with a synthetic phosphopeptide–KLH conjugate corresponding to the sequence around the tyrosine 1059 phosphorylation site of human VEGFR2 (P-D-Y(p)-V-R). It was purified by affinity chromatography using the epitope-specific phosphopeptide, with non-phospho-specific antibodies removed by non-phosphopeptide chromatography. The antibody specifically detects endogenous levels of VEGFR2 only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 1059 and is supplied at 1.0 mg/mL in phosphate-buffered saline (without Mg²⁺ and Ca²⁺), pH 7.4, containing 150 mM NaCl, 0.02% sodium azide, and 50% glycerol.
