Anti-VEGFR2/Flk-1 (P957) Antibody

The unconjugated antibody is supplied as a 50 µl aliquot at 1 mg/ml in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS, approx. pH 7.2) containing 0.05% sodium azide as a preservative, and is validated for immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections, typically used at 1:50–1:200 dilution. It detects the endogenous ~150–210 kDa VEGFR2 receptor in human and mouse samples and has been cited in studies of tumour angiogenesis, endothelial cell signalling and VEGF-driven proliferation pathways. For short-term use, keep the vial refrigerated at 2–8 °C; for longer storage, aliquot and freeze at –20 °C in small volumes to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles, and briefly centrifuge before use.
