Anti-VEGFR2/Flk-1 (I1220) Antibody

This rabbit polyclonal antibody from Antibodies.com targets VEGFR2, the principal receptor tyrosine kinase that mediates VEGF-driven endothelial cell proliferation, migration, and angiogenic signaling. The reagent is supplied as 100 µl at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide at approximately pH 7.2, unconjugated for direct use in user-developed detection workflows.

Validated for immunohistochemistry (IHC), the polyclonal reagent recognizes VEGFR2 in human, mouse, and rat tissue sections. VEGFR2 is widely used as a marker of tumor vasculature and underpins research into anti-angiogenic cancer therapeutics, vascular development, and wound healing responses. The antibody is generated against an internal region (I1220) of the receptor and is shipped as a liquid in PBS with 0.05% sodium azide added as a preservative.
