Phospho-specific VEGFR1 detection for immunohistochemistry. This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes VEGFR1/Flt-1 only when phosphorylated at tyrosine 1333, a C-terminal autophosphorylation site induced by VEGF-A binding. The reagent is supplied by Antibodies.com at 1 mg/ml in phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.05% sodium azide, pH approximately 7.2, as a 100 µl vial sufficient for multiple IHC runs.

Validated applications and reactivity. The antibody has been validated for immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded sections and shows reactivity with human, mouse, and rat samples, enabling cross-species comparison of VEGFR1 activation in tumor angiogenesis, placental vascular development, and inflammatory disease models.

Workflow notes. As an unconjugated primary reagent, it pairs with HRP- or alkaline phosphatase-conjugated secondary antibodies and standard chromogenic substrates such as DAB. For best results, store refrigerated and protect from light; aliquot to avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. Sodium azide in the storage buffer should be rinsed from sections before applying peroxidase substrates that are azide-sensitive.
