Anti-VEGFA Antibody

From Antibodies.com, this Rabbit polyclonal antibody recognises VEGFA (vascular endothelial growth factor) and is supplied unconjugated. It is validated for Western blot (WB) and immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) applications, with reactivity confirmed against Human, Mouse, and Rat samples. The IgG antibody was raised against a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region within amino acids 68–147 of human VEGFA (NP_001165099.1).

The reagent is provided as a liquid in Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.3) containing 50% glycerol and 0.01% Thiomersal, and has been purified by affinity chromatography. It detects VEGFA species at reported molecular weights of 17 kDa, 22 kDa, and 27 kDa. Concentration is lot specific. Recommended working dilutions are 1:500–1:1,000 for WB and 1:50–1:200 for ICC/IF. The antibody is shipped at 4°C; upon delivery it should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.
