Anti-VEGF (GV39M) Antibody

Produced by Antibodies.com as a high-purity primary antibody reagent for vascular biology research, this mouse monoclonal clone GV39M specifically targets Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF), a homodimeric glycoprotein intimately linked to angiogenesis and tumor vascularization. The antibody is supplied as a Protein A purified monoclonal at 50 µg per vial, unconjugated, and validated for use in ELISA and Western Blot (WB) applications. It is of the IgM,k isotype, raised in mouse host cells, and is known from the original Brekken et al. characterization to bind with high affinity to the VEGF:Flk-1 receptor complex on tumor endothelium, making it particularly useful for studies of VEGF-activated blood vessels in human, mouse and rodent tumor xenografts.
