Anti-VE-Cadherin Antibody

Manufactured by Antibodies.com, this affinity-purified polyclonal reagent is raised in rabbit against a synthetic peptide derived from the internal region of human VE-Cadherin (also known as CDH5, Cadherin-5, CD144 and 7B4 antigen), enabling the detection of endogenous levels of this key endothelial junctional protein. Provided as a 50 µl liquid formulation at 1 mg/mL in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5% BSA and 0.02% sodium azide, the unconjugated antibody has been validated for ELISA, Western blot (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF) and immunohistochemistry (IHC). It cross-reacts with human, mouse and rat samples, making it a reliable vascular endothelial marker across a broad range of experimental systems. For optimal stability, the vial should be stored at –20 °C and repeated freeze/thaw cycles avoided. The reagent is affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using the epitope-specific immunogen and is supplied strictly for research use; it is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic applications.
